Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream with Pecan Praline Sauce
Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream made with no churn ice cream, real cooked pumpkin and pumpkin spice. Topped with a delicious pecan praline sauce!
Don´t tell me you´re not blown away.. this recipe is perfect to bridge the change from Summer to Autumn!

A while ago I saw pumpkin ice cream on the menu of a local restaurant here in Las Palmas called Allende. I was intrigued and I decided to create pumpkin pie ice cream since everyone is thinking of pumpkin recipes these days *smile*.
This recipe is so easy to make, you dont need any Ice Cream maker (it´s the no churn type that I´ve shared with you guys before) so it´s easy enough to whip up some quickly for dinner parties, spoiling your family, the possibilities are endless..
Ingredients
- PUMPKIN PIE ICE CREAM: (Click here to see the full video on YouTube 🙂
- (makes enough for 6-7 scoops of ice cream/this is a non churn ice cream recipe, you dont need an Ice Cream Maker)
- 200ml whipped cream Watch this video to see how I make my Whipped Cream
- 200ml sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree Watch this video to see how I make my Pumpkin Puree
- 1-2 teaspoon/s pumpkin spice See how to make your own here
- PECAN PRALINE SAUCE: (Thanks to Gemma from Bigger Bolder Baking
- 1 Cup (8oz/ 225g) Unsalted Butter
- 1 Cup (8oz/ 225g) Heavy Cream
- 1 Cup (8oz/ 225g) Dark Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup(100g/ 3 ½ oz) Chopped Toasted Pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
- PUMPKIN PIE ICE CREAM:
- Whip your cream until it forms stiff peaks, fold in the condensed milk, then the pumpkin puree and lastly the pumpkin spice. Leave to set in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
- PECAN PRALINE SAUCE:
- 1. In a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together the butter, heavy cream, brown sugar and pecans; bring to a boil.
- 2. Reduce heat to low, Simmer until the sauce thickens, for about 5 minutes.
- 3. Take off the heat and set aside to cool.
- 4. Spoon overthe ice cream and you´re ready to eat!
