Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake Dip
Oreo Chocolate Cheesecake Dip served with Oreo cookies for dipping. The easiest way to make cheesecake without substituting taste!
Who doesn´t like Oreos? Or Chocolate? Or Cheesecake? Well I´m sure there are people but they definitely don´t live in my house and I´ve never met them 😉
When a friend asked me to bring dessert to a gathering this week my first instinct was to say “no sorry” I´m just too busy but I decided not to and see if I could throw something together in record time that still tastes good but wouldn´t take me ages to make. I don´t know about you guys out there but these days I feel completely overwhelmed. I seriously have time for nothing! Between work, life, motherhood, blogging, the house, etc. I´m swamped. My days are jam-packed from the moment I open my eyes until I go to bed at night. What about you guys? Do you feel the same..?
This dip is awesome (trust me!) and you can “literally” make the whole thing from start to finish in 25 minutes! That includes whipping the cream! Not bad hey?!
Imagine serving this at you next BBQ? Everyone will think you slaved the day away in the kitchen but we both know you didn´t. You tricked them. Yes you did. BUT NOT ON TASTE because it tastes the same as a no-bake cheesecake that took the whole night to set in the fridge…. You see where I´m going with this..?
Ingredients
- 10 normal sized Oreos, crushed & 20 (depends on number of guests) Oreos for dipping + mini Oreos to decorate the dip
- 0.25 cup Pure Dutch Cocoa Powder
- 200 ml Whipping Cream
- 1 tub Light Cream Cheese
- 2 tsps Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar, sifted
Instructions
- Put the bowl of your electric beater / stand mixer, the whisk and the cream in the freezer for 15 minutes before making the whipping cream.
- Whip the cream. Scoop it into another bowl and leave to stay cold in the fridge. See how I whip my cream here.
- Mix the rest of your ingredients in the same bowl you used for whipping the cream. Start off slow to avoid the cocoa powder and powdered sugar going everywhere, increase the speed and beat until all the ingredients are well blended.
- Add half of the whipping cream and beat on medium high for 15 seconds. Do the same with the other half.
- Fold in the crushed Oreos (save some for decoration). Leave in the fridge covered.
- Before serving, decorate with more crushed Oreos and mini Oreos as you see in the photos.
I really hope you guys make this for your friends & family this Summer! 🙂

I just had a friend ask me to bring a dessert to a gathering, too! And my first reaction was “ugh…I don’t have time.” This Oreo Cheesecake Dip sounds amazing, Johlene! I happen to love Oreos, and I also happen to love cheesecake…so this combination is pretty much perfect for me. But I’ll have to make a double batch since the first batch will be reserved for just me. 🙂
