Did you know the colour RED is all the rage this Fall? It´s also the reason why I bought myself a bright red Guess handbag and why I´m sharing 6 of my favourite type (red of course!) handbags in this post today…

Before we get into this post I wanted to tell you about a recent post I wrote about some – really cool and some not so cool – trends heading our way this Fall. To read it, click here. In it, I briefly touch on how the colour red will be huge this fall…

So here are 6 of my favourite (red) handbags for this fall:

1. The Crossbody

Crossbody handbags are a must have for those days when you go shopping and you need your hands to be free. I like this one from Asos because it reminds me of a Chanel crossbody bag I´ve been eyeing for the longest time and still need to save for (quite a bit).

2. The Day Clutch

This is one of those bags you can just grab and go for those days when you know you don´t need a ton of things with you. This is probably my favourite kind of handbag (I think they look very stylish!) but strangely enough I don´t have many of them… I love this one from Kate Spade!

3. The Weekender

A weekender bag is so much more than a bag for a weekend trip away. You can also use it as a grocery bag, diaper bag, gym bag, etc like this one from the brand Giani Bernini created for Macy´s. Which by the way is ON SALE at the moment for $49.75–69.75 (regular price: $100 – 140). Just in case you´re in the market for one of these 🙂

4. The Evening Clutch

I only have a black clutch for special occasions which I bought for a wedding a few years ago. I think evening clutches are beautiful and I often find myself eyeing them when I´m clothes shopping. I especially like this satin finish one from the brand Nina. I think I just might add one more to my collection this fall… 😉

5. The Day Tote Bag

A day tote bag is perfect for days in the office when you need to carry your tablet, laptop and/or files (like this one from Michael Kors which I adore!) but still want to look stylish. Since I already bought mine (shown in the photos) from Guess I will need to wait awhile before buying a new one, especially in the colour red 😉

6. The Quirky Bag

This is that bag (like this red lip one from Zulily) that you buy when you feel like wearing something different and totally out there! This is the one us Moms normally don´t get because we just can´t warrant it. Check out this post I wrote about luxury vs affordable – yes or no?

I often get asked about the equipment I use for my blog or YouTube channel.

The camera I use for my blog photos is the Canon T3i/600D EOS (with the Canon STM 50mm 1.8 lens). I would like to upgrade to the Canon EOS 5D Mark III (however my budget does not allow for it yet) because of its full frame (22MP full frame CMOS) sensor capacity. My current camera has a cropped frame which means I need to stand further away from my subject when I shoot.

Then, I use the Osmos DJI Mobile for my videos/vlogs. I love the Osmo Mobile because you control it via an app on any Android or IOS phone.  It seriously has changed the way my travel videos look! Some of its features are Active Track technology which automatically keeps your smart phone facing you as you move and smooths and even cancels out the movements you make, stopping camera shake and turning every shot into a cinematic video!

We very recently added the GoPro HERO5 and the Accessories Starter Kit to our collection and can´t wait to test it out! Watch this space.
