White Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge for Easter. These are super easy to make and taste amazing!! Besides they´re very cute for Easter too.. 🙂
A few years ago I discovered a fudge recipe made with just 2 main ingredients: White Chocolate and Sweetened Condensed Milk. Ever since then I´ve made quite a few variations, like this Cherry Almond Fudge Recipe, and this Peanut White Chocolate version…
…but since it´s Easter I thought to turn this simple recipe into cute Easter Egg Desserts! To make them oval shaped, I simply used a round cookie cutter made with soft, bendable metal. By bending the round cookie cutter slightly I achieved just the right shape for my project. If you have an oval shaped cutter, even better!
I left the fudge to set overnight, and then cut the shapes out by dipping the cookie cutter in very hot water, drying it off quickly, cutting out my shape, and starting the process all over again for the next one. This way the shapes cut out easily and the edges come out clean.
Ingredients
- 400g melted white chocolate (melt in the microwave for 1.5 - 2 minutes at 30 second intervals, stirring well each time)
- An additional 400g melted chocolate (for the outsides of the Easter Egg Fudge)
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 tin 370g sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Soften the peanut butter for 30 seconds in the microwave.
- Add it to the melted white chocolate and mix well.
- Lastly add the condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- At this stage the mixture will look strange as if it has seized, but don´t worry because the fudge will come out perfectly at the end 🙂
- Pour the mixture into a pan lined with parchment paper, making sure the parchment paper comes out at the sides to easily lift the fudge out after it has set.
- Set in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours (overnight is best).
- Cut the shapes out by dipping a round cookie cutter (made with soft metal to make the shape of an Easter egg, or if you have an oval shaped cutter even better) in very hot water, drying it off quickly, cutting out my shape, and starting the process all over again for the next one. This way the shapes cut out easily and the edges come out clean.
- Place the Easter egg fudge on a rack of an oven pan so that the melted chocolate can drip off in the pan (this keeps your kitchen much tidier!)
- Pour the melted chocolate over the Easter egg fudge making sure the chocolate runs off on all side (to ensure they are covered completely).
- When the chocolate has set and dried repeat the process.
- Decorate to your liking. I used pastel coloured round edible confetti and edible gold glitter to decorate mine.

This week we´ve been in Portugal for holiday, and that´s why this post is a tad late. In actual fact I´m writing this blog post in Portugal, sitting at a table, in our small kitchen, in our tiny apartment, looking out at our view of a park (the same park where we hid the kids Easter Eggs), And wishing we could stay a little while longer. It´s been such an amazing week and I don´t want it to end.
Family Time, just like this, makes me a verrry happy girl… 🙂
The photo below is of Cascais in Portugal. It´s a sneak preview of a blog post (coming very soon) of all we saw and did in Portugal…
Hope you all had a super blessed Easter! He Has Risen!

What a fun twist, Johlene! I love that fudge recipe that you mentioned…I made some last Christmas season, and it was amazing! But I’m digging how you switched it up and made these eggs. Perfect for Easter. The Easter Bunny forgot to come to my house this year…I think it was b/c I made fun of him in a recent post. So clearly I just need to get on with it and make my own batch of Easter fudge! 🙂 P.S. Can’t wait to see your Portugal post. Glad you guys had fun!
How could you make fun of the Easter bunny David… bad bad!! lol
Portugal was amazing, I will definetly go back some day. It is a beautiful country!!!
