In July, we went on a road trip to Annecy and from there we did day trips to Megève (photo), Chamonix, Geneva and a other places.

Megève is situated in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in South-Eastern France with a population of only 3,000 residents and well known as a ski resort near Mont Blanc in the French Alps.

I would love to go back to explore Megève during Christmas time!

Our visit to Mont Saint Michel 🇨🇵 was as mag

Our visit to Mont Saint Michel 🇨🇵 was as magical we hoped for.. and I would definitely recommend it 😍

We parked in the paid parking called La Caserne. There are shuttles that run to and from the parking lot, but we decided to walk the 3 km (aprox. 40 minutes each way) to the commune.

Trust me, the closer you get, the more exciting and the better the view!

We ate lunch at Restaurant La Salicorne (on our way back to the parking), where we ordered mussels in a creamy garlic broth (so good!) and brioche french toast drizzled with salted caramel for dessert 😋
