• Visit The Dom Tower, the tallest church tower in the Netherlands.
• Stroll through the Pandhof of St. Martin's Cathedral: a medieval herb garden surrounded by a 15th-century cloister.

Are these the most beautiful places in Lake Garda? 🇮🇹

We spent a full day exploring the stunning lakeside towns of Lake Garda by public ferry, and it quickly became one of our favourite experiences in northern Italy. The views from the water are amazing, and the colour of the lake is something you just don’t see when travelling by car.

We used Navigarda to hop between towns like Malcesine, and it was so easy. No parking stress, just relaxing views and charming stops along the way. If you visit by car, the shoulder season (April to June or September to October) is best for fewer crowds, easier parking, and comfortable weather.

Just note that during the low season, ferry routes are limited.

Could this be the most magical village in Provence? ✨🇫🇷

📍Moustiers-Sainte-Marie was one of our favourite towns we visited on our recent trip to Provence. Famous for its setting at the base of rocky cliffs, with a small waterfall from the Ravine de Notre-Dame flowing right through the town and under the Archos Bridge St. Mary.

One of the highlights here is the Notre-Dame de Beauvoir chapel, which you can reach by climbing a path of stone steps. Above the village, you’ll notice a star hanging between two cliffs.. Local legend says a knight from the Crusades hung it there as a symbol of gratitude to the Virgin Mary after returning safely home.

Here's a few suggestions to enjoy the town’s lively atmosphere! 👇🏻

• Stop for a drink at Café L’Olivier (touristy but worth it for the views).
• Grab gelato from La Solanée.. the white cheese with chestnut spread is incredible!
• Enjoy a meal at Café Gourmandises with incredible balcony views!

One Unforgettable Day in the Dolomites! ⛰️🇮🇹

On our recent trip to Italy, we stayed on the banks of Lake Caldonazzo in the province of Trento, strategically located close to South Tyrol, the Dolomites, and the north of Lake Garda.

We had initially planned to spend at least two full days in the Dolomites, but we ran out of time and energy 🤪 so in the end, we only had one full day to explore the beautiful mountain towns of the Dolomites. This is what we did 👇🏻

• Ortisei – We had lunch at Wirtshaus Osteria Traube and something sweet at Café Corso. We also visited a lovely gift shop, Comploj, where we bought a beautiful handcrafted Christmas ornament.
• Selva di Val Gardena – We did a quick drive-through to take in the stunning mountain scenery.
• Canazei – Another scenic stop with postcard-perfect views.
• Pozza di Fassa – Passed through this charming valley town on our way to the next viewpoint.
• Punto Panoramico Passo Sella – Incredible views of Sassolungo and the Sella Towers.
• Lake Karersee (Lago di Carezza) – Ended the day at this magical lake with mirror-like reflections.

Bordeaux isn’t just about wine (though the wine is amazing)! 🍷 From strolling the stunning Miroir d’Eau to getting lost in the old town’s charm, this city somehow always surprises us at every turn. We often stop here on our road trips from Madrid to France, sometimes just for a few hours, other times overnight.

And #3 on our list? Let’s just say it’s something you absolutely can’t leave without tasting 😋🇫🇷

1. Stroll through the old town. Wander past medieval gates and charming squares, and climb the Grosse Cloche tower for one of the best views in Bordeaux.

2. See the Miroir d’Eau & Place de la Bourse. One of Europe’s most photographed spots.

3. Eat at Le Michels & explore the foodie scene. This city’s restaurants are next-level. From mouthwatering French classics to the famous canelé pastry, Bordeaux is a dream for food lovers. 😋

4. Visit La Cité du Vin. The world’s most impressive wine museum.

5. Take a day trip to Saint-Émilion. Vineyards, wine tastings, and storybook views.

6. Walk along the Garonne River. Perfect for sunset strolls or a river cruise.

7. Ride the little tourist train. It is an easy (and fun) way to see the city’s highlights.

8. Shop on Rue Sainte-Catherine. One of Europe’s longest pedestrian shopping streets.

9. Discover local museums & the opera house. A mix of art, history, and architecture.

10. Escape to Arcachon Bay & Dune du Pilat. The coast is just a short drive away!
