No Churn Cookie Dough Ice Cream
Easy homemade no churn ice cream made with sweetened condensed milk and whipped cream. Now add frozen, eggless, chocolate chipe cookie dough and caramel sauce and you´re in cookie dough ice cream heaven!
Finally I scooped mine inbetween some chocolate chip cookies to make my very own ice cream cookie sandwich and it tasted so good..
Just saying..
So if you´re tired of hearing me speaking of Cookie Dough, you´re in luck. This is my last post in this series (for now.. don´t get too excited.. this cookie dough thing is all new to me and I´m enjoying experimenting with it!). I have a few more recipe ideas that I would like to test and share with you guys in the near future..
Caramel Sauce makes the world go round
Didn´t you know that? That´s why I add mine to nearly anything. Some people love chocolate. I love caramel (salted or not). Mix it with chocolate and I´m a very happy girl 🙂
Ingredients
- 200 ml cream
- 200 ml sweetened condensed milk
- 0.25 cup eggless chocolate chip cookie dough
- 2 chocolate chip cookies broken in pieces
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Homemade caramel sauce
Instructions
- Whip your cream until stiff peaks form.
- Add your sweetened condensed milk.
- Now fold in the rest of the ingredients (except for the caramel sauce)
- Pour the mixture into a suitable container.
- Add some of the caramel sauce on top and with a knife, drag it through the caramel to create swirled patterns.
- Leave to set for a minimum of 6 hours.
- Enjoy!!
Summer is nearly here!
We went away this past weekend to the south of the island, to celebrate Mother´s Day, and had a blast! One of my favorite things we did was to go on a submarine. We went to the very bottom of the sea and saw old ship wrecks..
Now imagine doing something like that and having something like this as a snack?? 🙂 Best of both worlds in one day!
I wish I could say I´m one of those bloggers that have my post planned weeks in advance but I would be straight out lying. One day I´m going to be one of “those” bloggers and you guys will be proud of me!
Until then, please be patient with me and know that I´m loving to share one dessert post at a time with you all!
This week we´re celebrating my son Luca´s 5th birthday.. bittersweet for sure because this mother doesn´t want him to grow up soooooo fast. The exciting part is that we have the whole day planned from the moment he wakes up and he opens his presents to the time he goes to bed. In this house, we believe in celebrating your birthday in style!
Have a great week guys! Hugs & Kisses!
