Easy Gluten Free Banana Bread (with chocolate flavour!)
This healthy recipe contains no sugar or fat and is the perfect way to start your day! The best part is that it takes only minutes (seriously!) to prepare!
The first thing I do when I wake up is to have my coffee, then after about an hour I start getting hungry and never know what to make. These days there are only 2 things that satisfy me (that is healthy). One is oatmeal and the other is this banana bread recipe…
I have quite a few versions of this recipe, for example peanut butter, just banana, and then this chocolate one! They all taste good and the best thing is that they are healthy and only take minutes to make 🙂
This recipe makes perfect muffins too, just bake them for half of the time stipulated on the recipe.
I normally cut up some fresh fruit (or make a smoothie) with two thick slices of this healthy banana bread and it´s more than enough to satisfy me until lunch time 🙂
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 L eggs
- 2 cups gluten free oats
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup agave or 1/2 cup pure honey

This sounds so good, and I love the fact that it’s gluten free and low in sugar! Quick question: Can I sub out the Greek yogurt for something that’s non-dairy? If so, what would you recommend?
You totally could! Try almond milk I´m pretty sure it would work (or) perhaps non-dairy yogurt..?
I love, love, love banana bread, but I don’t think I’ve ever made a chocolate version. This one sounds awesome, and I can see why it would be satisfying in the morning with a nice mug of coffee! Sign me up for a slice (or two) please! 🙂
Me too David! The best part of this one is that it´s super healthy and therefore totally guilt free 🙂 🙂
