Our impromptu two days in #Valencia was super fun!!
This wasn't our first time visiting but I think it might be my favourite visit so far.. The weather was absolutely perfect. A slight breeze, 22°C. AH BLISS.

Photos 1 - 3: On our first day we started off with a much needed Americano from Starbucks, and then we browsed the streets of the beautiful city centre.

Photos 4 - 6: We then headed to @brunch_corner (rated well on Google & TripAdvisor) where the brunch menu was more food that our stomachs could handle, but definitely did our very best to eat as much as we could 😄 This was followed by more browsing & then finally we headed to our hotel 'Serchotel Sorolla Palace' where we celebrated the beginning of the weekend with cava 🥂 & a tub of ice cream 🍦(side note: Luca toasted with a glass of orange juice) & beautiful views of the city lights (head to my highlight 'Valencia' to see this).

Photos 7 -10: On our 2nd/ last day we woke up late & had coffee in our giant bead while chatting & planning our day. We decided to head to Malvarrosa for some food & beautiful views. We ended up eating (we were too hungry to wait for the paella for 45 minutes so instead we ordered lobster croquettas, ensaladilla rusa & calamari) at Panorama Restaurant with beautiful views of the sea, and ofcourse 'Agua de Valencia' (champagne based coctail with orange juice, gin & vodka 🍹). This is one of the main reasons why I love Valencia so much.. ha! 😉

This quote is exactly how I feel about travelling. People tell us to be responsible, save money & wait for our dreams until we retire. That doesn't make sense as no one knows what tomorrow may bring.
.
I say there is no better time than today & if you're smart you can save while doing this. Don't conform to someone elses right. Do what you know innately is good for you. We only live once (well on earth that is 😉)

This was my 3rd visit to Bilbao, but the first time I slept over and probably my favourite visit so far.
.
The one thing I notice every time I'm there is how clean the streets are! .
Bilbao (Bilbo in Euskera) is the 5th largest urban area in Spain, and is the beating heart of the Basque Country. It is the most cosmopolitan of the cities in the region and constantly evolving.

Well in case you haven't, I speak about how I'm really sad that the Christmas Holidays are officially over. 2019/20 was probably my best Christmas in many, many years.
BUT,
I'm also excited to see what 2020 brings.
I know in order to make my dreams come true, I need to take action. But taking action doesn't mean giant leaps. Baby steps. Each one of those tiny steps will take me in the direction I'm destined to be. 2019 showed me that.

Our impromptu two days in #Valencia was super fun!!
